“11th Spring” is about my sister’s concerns about growing up. The dome signifies the time spent in confinement and the tribal elements nod towards the family unit. The blossoming flowers represent a time of change as my sister grows out of childhood. Aware of this change, she contemplates the age and endurance of the tortoise.
